Job Responsibilities:
∎ Technical guidance
∎ Provide technical oversight to ensure all projects supported are designed and conducted according to GBV global standards
∎ Provide technical oversight to design, implement, and manage Livelihoods program
∎ Serve as a resource and focal point for colleagues and implementing partners on technical matters related to GBV service provision
∎ Prepare and conduct trainings for partner staff and community volunteers on topics related to GBV, such as GBV concepts, best practices for working with GBV survivors, referral pathways, and integrating GBV-sensitive services into project activities
∎ Coordination
∎ Represent within GBV sub-sector
∎ Represent within Livelihoods sub-sector
∎ Represent within Youth working group
∎ Coordinate with other organizations to promote quality services and referral pathways and to ensure integrated service provision
∎ Promote gender mainstreaming across humanitarian sectors
∎ Other
∎ Supervise and build capacity of two GBV Officers
∎ Supervise and build capacity of one Livelihoods Officer
∎ Support partners to develop monitoring and evaluation tools appropriate to GBV & Livelihoods service provision
∎ Collaborate with colleagues and partners to ensure the smooth operation of programming
∎ Creation, revision, and implementation of log-frames
∎ Creation of concept notes, work-plans, cash projections, narrative reports etc.
∎ Creation and management of programmatic budgets
∎ Carry out duties in a manner that promotes equity and respect for all local partners by understanding their norms, culture and local context
∎ Sustain good relationships and coordination with local partners, authorities and other relevant organizations
∎ Provide weekly/ monthly/ interim/ programmatic/ field/ security reports to senior management.
