Educational Requirements:
∎ Diploma in Engineering in Textile Technology, Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Textile Technology
∎ Fashion Technology related degree and experience at Garments Technologist level within fashion retail or fashion manufacturing. such as:-
∎ Degree in fashion Designing.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Textile, Fashion Design
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Garments
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Comprehensive Knowledge of garment Construction and quality standards.
∎ Must have good knowledge in all types of sewing machines, folders, guides and attachments jigs etc.
∎ An understanding of manufacturing Processes on Textile properties / Testing / Washing etc.
∎ Very strong interest in fashion and clothing with creative ideas.
∎ Comprehensive knowledge of grading, fitting and Making pattern adjustments Also should have the ability to create and develop his own designs-
∎ Understanding the Fit comments, and making necessary changes in Pattern and construction to get the expected outcome on fit and respond to product queries.
∎ Should ensure that the manufacturing process is efficient and cost-effective.
∎ A Good team player & contributing ideas for a better output.
∎ Should have experience in working with international buyers/technicians.
∎ Good time management, in making instant decisions related to fits with accurate eye for details.
∎ Good measuring skills.
