Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 40 years
∎ Must have 5 years or above experience as Garment Technician in Outerwear industry.
∎ Preferable H.S.C pass, if will have 10 years working experience in outerwear.
∎ Must have experience and knowledge of garment construction in Outerwear.
∎ Relevant experience in multi-product outerwear and a keen eye for detail.
∎ Have the ability to work alone as well as in a team.
∎ Be able to work under tight deadlines and cope-up with pressure.
∎ Have a keen interest in fashion and textiles.
∎ A high level of technical knowledge and strong practical skills.
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Evaluate garment samples in terms of fitting, measurement, construction, and sewing.
∎ Identify potential problems of samples that may arise during production and provide solutions.
∎ Knowledge and understanding in pattern adjustment to implement.
∎ Guide operator/sample maker for making perfect sample as per customer/buyer demand.
∎ Help designer and sample department in developing production samples friendly.
∎ Must have knowledge of Garment FIT checking.
∎ Creating detailed technical specifications, garment construction guidelines and measurement charts for production teams to follow, ensuring consistency and accuracy in garment construction.
∎ Handling risk assessment of all new orders and raising.
∎ Discuss the issues with the merchandising and production team.
∎ The ability to confidently attend and contribute to Client fit meetings and manage follow up procedures.
∎ The ability to build and maintain successful working relationships with colleagues, clients and factories.
