Responsibilities & Context:
1.Fire Risk Assessment & Hazard Identification
2.Compliance with Regulations (Ensure workplace compliance with Bangladesh fire safety regulations, Bangladesh National Building Code (BNBC), Bangladesh Labor Act, and related standards).
3.Fire Safety Systems Inspection & Maintenance
4.Emergency Planning & Evacuation Preparedness
5.Training & Awareness Programs
6.Incident Response & Investigation
7.Record Keeping & Reporting
8.Coordination with Authorities (Fire Service & Civil Defense (FSCD) and compliance auditors).
9.Team Supervision
10.Maintain general fire safety, detection & protection system as required according to the law.
11.Set up and follow up firefighting equipment as per law and fire prevention Act.
12.Responsible for fire safety management, protection, NFPA & BNBC requirements to ensure fire safety in the company.
13.Maintain the daily requirements of RSC.
14.Monitor and ensure that the facility of fire hydrant & fire pumps is adequate and are working properly.
15.Daily walk round/floor visit & ensure firefighting equipment and follow up the daily checklist activities of the firefighting team.
16.Set in-house strong firefighting and rescue team in all the departments.
17.Ensure in- house fire training for firefighters, rescuers, new and old employees, and security personnel.
18.Responsible to conduct fire & emergency evacuation drills as per law.
19.Responsible to conduct firefighting training from fire service & Civil Defense authority.
20.Monitoring & auditing fire safety for all the subordinates of the department.
21.Develop & update the security system to maintain a safe work environment in the factory.
22.Ensure safety compliance with the company policies and industry regulations.
23.Responsible to lead a fire safety team efficiently.
24.Suggest improvement on fire safety.
25.Conduct monthly training to all employee on fire safety awareness.
26.Assist/Support to conduct all kind of internal/external/Buyers/3rd party audit.
