Context :
AKH Knitting & Dyeing Ltd. (AKDL) is a 100% Export-Oriented Knit Composite Factory located at Phulbaria, Tetuljhora, Savar, Dhaka and a sister concern of AKH Group. We are looking for a skilled and specially H & M buyer requirement experienced Finishing Manager for the knit garments.
Job Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement finishing schedules aligned with shipment plans.
- Balance finishing lines to meet daily and weekly targets.
- Coordinate with sewing and packing departments to ensure smooth workflow.
- Ensure finishing meets H&M’s strict quality standards and buyer
- specifications.
- Conduct final inspections and oversee defect rectification.
- Maintain records of quality audits and corrective actions.
- Team Management
- Supervise finishing line staff and allocate tasks based on skill and output.
- Monitor individual worker performance and provide feedback.
- Train workers on buyer-specific finishing techniques and compliance
- protocols.
- Compliance & Buyer Communication
- Ensure adherence to H&M’s sustainability and compliance standards.
- Prepare finishing reports and updates for buyer visits and audits.
- Collaborate with merchandising and QA teams to resolve buyer concerns
- Oversee trimming, ironing, folding, tagging, and packing processes.
- Monitor packing material usage and stock levels.
- Ensure accurate labeling and carton packing as per buyer guidelines.
