Job Responsibilities:
∎ The officer is responsible for maintaining accurate records of finished paint products in stock. This involves tracking quantities, product types, and expiration dates if applicable.
∎ Ensuring the quality of finished paint products is a critical responsibility. This may involve conducting quality checks, inspections, and ensuring that products meet industry standards and specifications.
∎ Overseeing the proper packaging and labeling of finished paint products, ensuring that they meet regulatory requirements and branding standards.
∎ Managing inventory to prevent issues like product expiration or degradation, by following the principle of First In, First Out (FIFO) or other appropriate rotation methods.
∎ Maintaining accurate records of stock levels, inventory transactions, and other relevant data to facilitate efficient supply chain management and reporting.
∎ Collaborating with the distribution team to ensure timely and accurate delivery of finished paint products to customers or distribution centers.
∎ Using inventory management systems and software to track product movement, update stock levels, and generate reports.
∎ Managing returns and exchanges of defective or damaged paint products and ensuring proper disposal or reconditioning.
∎ Staying updated with and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, safety standards, and environmental requirements in the paints industry.
∎ Preparing reports on inventory levels, sales, and any issues related to finished goods for management and other relevant departments.
∎ Coordinating with various departments such as production, quality control, sales, and logistics to ensure smooth operations in the supply chain.
∎ Identifying and resolving issues related to stock shortages, quality problems, or other challenges that may arise in the handling of finished goods.
