Key Responsibilities:

Cost & Stock Control

  • Conduct a full inventory count every week for all food, beverage, and disposable items, then reconcile results against theoretical usage.
  • Review and approve purchase requisitions daily, compare supplier quotes, and flag any cost variances.
  • Verify every delivery on arrival—check quantity, weight, and product specifications—before signing the goods-received note.
  • Enter all invoices and goods-received notes (GRNs) into the POS/ERP system before the end of each business day.
  • Analyse weekly cost-of-goods-sold (COGS) and wastage reports; implement corrective measures if variances exceed 2 percentage points.

Service & Guest Experience

  • Lead pre-service briefings each day and set the floor plan for smooth service flow.
  • Monitor guest satisfaction in real time, resolve complaints on the spot, and collect feedback for continuous improvement.

People & Training

  • Create weekly rosters covering 12 PM – 12 AM for senior and junior waiters, baristas, busboys, cleaner, and cashier/assistant manager.
  • Recruit, onboard, and mentor team members; deliver weekly skills clinics focusing on service standards, POS usage, and product knowledge.
  • Conduct performance reviews every six months with measurable KPIs tied to sales growth, cost control, and guest-rating scores.

Administration & Compliance

  • Prepare a daily sales flash report, a weekly P&L snapshot, and month-end financial packs for the owner.
  • Enforce HACCP, hygiene, fire-safety, and Bangladesh labour-law standards; coordinate inspections with local authorities.
  • Manage petty cash, daily banking, and tip distribution with full transparency and proper documentation.

Supplier & Maintenance Liaison

  • Build strong relationships with key suppliers; negotiate pricing, credit terms, and delivery schedules to support cost targets.
  • Oversee preventive maintenance schedules and coordinate repairs promptly to minimize equipment downtime.
