∎ Age at most 40 years
∎ Advance knowledge in accounting concept and book-keeping.
∎ Practical knowledge in keeping accounting books with accounting software.
∎ Capable of managing project financial management independently.
∎ Ability to prepare all types of vouchers, checking bill-invoices.
∎ Knowledge of standard procurement system.
∎ Knowledge in financial reporting system.
∎ Capable of facilitating the internal and external audit.
∎ Excellent knowledge in budgeting and budgetary control.
∎ Proficient in computer skills in MS office and must have very well in MS-Excel.
∎ Excellent skills in team management
∎ Good planning and coordinating and presentation
∎ Knowledge in office administration.
∎ Excellent analytical skills.
∎ Excellent in teamwork, networking and communication.
∎ Excellent communication skill in both verbal and written in English and Bangla.
∎ Motivation in working with Adivasi & Non-adivasi poor people in remote areas.
∎ 5 years working experiences in donor funded project and aware and sensitive regarding gender issues and respect for diversity.
∎ Able to drive motorbike with valid driving license.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Carrying out day to day accounting & financial activities and post all daily transactions in the books of accounts/accounting software package through proper coding.
∎ Ensure all expenses are verified in the validity and accuracy of reliable, reasonable and approved by a designated person before payment.
∎ Prepare financial reports, budget variance analysis, ensure the fund disbursement issues and handle the funding process as per requirement.
∎ Organize field visit for direct support, checking of bills (physical verification of cost proof where applicable), vouchers, compliance of donor and review internal control system of unit office.
∎ Ensure support in effective vehicle and motorcycle maintenance.
∎ Arrange accommodations, tickets, transportation for the project personnel if requested.
∎ Arrange booking/contracting venues for the project training and provide necessary administrative and logistic support.
∎ Check compliance of obligations and procurement principals as laid down in project agreement.
∎ Monitor the safety and security arrangement of the project/unit office & take steps in combination.
∎ Manage store of stationeries, keep track project’s inventories and asset as per DASCOH and donor policy compliances and organize physical inventory.
∎ Manage the NGOAB & other regulatory bodies and initiatives to conduct internal and external audit.
∎ DASCOH Foundation is a non-government and non-profitable organization. Utilizing local knowledge of the people at grass root and available resources at local level, DASCOH has put forward an alternative participatory development process. It has developed a professional workforce with flexible decision-making capacity. DASCOH is using supportive supervision & coaching method to develop human capital and thus helping to develop the capacity of local government institutions, which is reflected in the project planning and management with local government, private sector, donors and the community. Currently, it operates ten projects, covering the thematic areas of health, climate adaptation, human rights, quality education, livelihood improvement, etc. mainly covering Rajshahi division but all over the country. Several projects are ongoing in the thematic areas and information technology support are required for innovation, monitoring, analysis and showcasing good practices and achievements.
∎ DASCOH is seeking application from qualified individual for the role of Finance and Admin Officer (FAO) for its “Improving young people’s access to sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) through a community- based approach and cooperation with state institutions” (A-EMPOWER) project which aims to improving the sexual and reproductive health and rights of adolescents in Rajshahi, Chapainawabgonj and Naogaon Districts of Rajshahi Division, Bangladesh in line with SDG 3.7 "Ensure universal access to sexual and reproductive health services, including family planning, information and education, and mainstream reproductive health into national policies and programs.
∎ The incumbent will support the organization by performing in the field of finance and admin of the project in coordination with the program and organizational management, government stakeholders, donor and other stakeholders. Finance and Administration Officer is a key player who directly responsible to carry out all sorts of financial and administrative activities at project office for smoothly operating the project following organizational policy and guidance. S/he assists Finance Director of the project as well as Director Finance and Administration of the organization in preparing budget and different legal documents of the project. Keep safely of the unit office finance and administrative documents with confidentiality.
∎ Responsibilities are:
