Experience:

• At least 2 years

• Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary science or related field.

• At least 2 years

• Age 25 to 40 years

• Age: 25 - 40 years (as on 30/09/2024)

• Minimum two years experience in program and or implementation. Experience in emergency programs and especially in Rohingya camp strongly preferred.

• Ability to lead and train teams.

• Excellent interpersonal skills in working with affected communities

• Familiar with MS Office, internet, email, Power Point preparation & presentation..

• Knowledge on local Chittagongian language will be an advantage. Fluency in English will plus.

Caritas Bangladesh (CB) is a national and non-profit development organization operating in Bangladesh since 1967. It has its Central Office in Dhaka and eight Regional Offices in Barishal, Chattogram, Dhaka, Dinajpur, Khulna, Mymensingh, Rajshahi and Sylhet. CB is implementing 91 on-going projects covering 52 districts and 201 upazilas focusing on six main priorities i.e i) Social Welfare for Vulnerable Communities (SWVC), ii) Education and Child Development, iii) Nutrition and Health Education, iv) Disaster Management, v) Ecological Conservation and Food Security (ECFS), and vi) Development of Indigenous Peoples.

Caritas Bangladesh (CB), Chattogram Region is looking for suitable candidates for the following positions for immediate appointment as well as to prepare panel list for the project of Emergency Assistance to Relocation of Rohingya Refugees to Bhashanchar in Bangladesh.

The details of the positions including job responsibilities, educational qualification and other qualities /competency required for the positions are given below for your information.

• Lead and assist to smooth implementation of overall project (livestock, Poultry etc.).

• Provide treatment, vaccination and overall implementation of livestock and poultry sector.

• Keep close eye on project assets to protect from diseases/issues for successful implementation,

• Draft case report and submission.

• Regular interact with veterinary departments, other NGOs, livestock/ animal owners/ beneficiaries.

• Periodic quality report preparation and submission.

• Regular field visit in project site, follow-up & monitoring.

• Train up project staffs on livestock and poultry.

• Assist in procurement of project assets to ensure quality.

• Share learning and provide constructive comments to colleagues in order to ensure programme quality.

Salary Range: Tk. 50,000/- (consolidated) per month

Bonus: As per organizational policy.
