Experience:

• Masters

• Post graduate/Bachelor’s Degree in public health, development studies social science is preferred.

• At least 1 year

• Age 22 to 45 years

• Age: 22 - 45 years (as on 28/02/2026)

• One year experience in program and or implementation is preferred.

• Experience in facilitating hygiene sessions/social behavior change (SBC) monitoring activities and reporting, experience in emergency programs and especially in Rohingya camp is strongly preferred.

• Ability to facilitate implementation and train Volunteers.

• Excellent interpersonal skills in working with affected communities

• Working knowledge in using computer (mail, PowerPoint, word, XL etc.) is preferred.

• Communication skill in local Chittagongian dialect id preferred.

Caritas Bangladesh (CB) is a national and non-profit development organization operating in Bangladesh since 1967. It has its Central Office in Dhaka and eight Regional Offices in Barishal, Chattogram, Dhaka, Dinajpur, Khulna, Mymensingh, Rajshahi and Sylhet. CB is implementing 88 ongoing projects covering 185 upazilas focusing on eight goals i.e. 1) Social Welfare and Service of Love for Vulnerable Communities; 2) Ecological Conservation, Climate Justice and Sustainable, Food System; 3) Humanitarian Response and Disaster Management; 4) Education, Skill Development and Employment Creation; 5) Health Care, Nutrition and Education; 6) Development of Indigenous Peoples; 7) Integral Human Development; and 8) Institutional Development and Sustainability.

Caritas Bangladesh (CB), Chattogram Region is looking for suitable candidates to this following position for immediate appointment as well as to prepare panel list for “Emergency Response Program for Forcibly Displaced Myanmar Nationals (FDMNs) and Host Community living in Cox’s Bazar and Bhasanchar, Bangladesh” under approved FD-7 (stage #18/2026)

Reporting to: Project Coordinator

Job Nature: Contractual/ Temporary

Job location: Camp Bhasanchar, Hatiya, Noakhali

Major Responsibilities

• Organize and facilitate regular sessions, orientations, trainings, and structured hygiene messaging for beneficiaries, staff, and volunteers on WaSH-related activities, with a particular focus on hygiene.

• Promote the consistent use of hygiene kits and materials by conducting practical demonstrations as needed.

• Closely monitor essential hygiene activities and the performance of WaSH project volunteers.

• Contribute to the planning, design, and implementation of WaSH projects.

• Prepare periodic reports, case studies, guidelines, and other project-related documents.

• Participate in regular meetings, trainings, and workshops organized by the office, project, WaSH sectors, ARRRC, CIC office, and other relevant bodies.

• Engage in interaction, communication, and rapport building with relevant stakeholders and authorities, including WaSH sectors and other NGOs/INGOs as required.

• Conduct frequent field visits to project sites for follow-up and monitoring as needed.

• Share lessons learned and provide constructive feedback to colleagues to ensure program quality.

• Salary Range: Tk. 43,923/= (consolidated) per month, plus other benefits as per project /organizational policy.

• Bonus: As per organizational policy.
