Experience:

• Bachelor of Science (BSc)
• Diploma

• BSC/Diploma in midwifery from Bangladesh Nursing & Midwifery Council (BNMC)

• Valid updated BNMC Registration

• At least 1 year
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): NGO

• Age 22 to 45 years

• Age: 22 - 45 years (as on 28/02/2026)

• Minimum one year experience in program and or implementation is preferred.

• Experience in emergency programs and especially in Rohingya camp is strongly preferred.

• Ability to facilitate implementation and train the team/Volunteers.

• Excellent interpersonal skills in working with affected communities

• Working knowledge in using computer (mail, PowerPoint, word, XL etc.) is preferred.

• Communication skill in local Chittagongian dialect is preferred.

Caritas Bangladesh (CB) is a national and non-profit development organization operating in Bangladesh since 1967. It has its Central Office in Dhaka and eight Regional Offices in Barishal, Chattogram, Dhaka, Dinajpur, Khulna, Mymensingh, Rajshahi and Sylhet. CB is implementing 88 ongoing projects covering 185 upazilas focusing on eight goals i.e. 1) Social Welfare and Service of Love for Vulnerable Communities; 2) Ecological Conservation, Climate Justice and Sustainable, Food System; 3) Humanitarian Response and Disaster Management; 4) Education, Skill Development and Employment Creation; 5) Health Care, Nutrition and Education; 6) Development of Indigenous Peoples; 7) Integral Human Development; and 8) Institutional Development and Sustainability.

Caritas Bangladesh (CB), Chattogram Region is looking for suitable candidates to this following position for immediate appointment as well as to prepare panel list for “Emergency Response Program for Forcibly Displaced Myanmar Nationals (FDMNs) and Host Community living in Cox’s Bazar and Bhasanchar, Bangladesh” under approved FD-7 (stage #18/2026)

Reporting to: Project Coordinator

Job Nature: Contractual/ Temporary

Job location: Camp Bhasanchar, Hatiya, Noakhali

Major Responsibilities

• Organize regular sessions, orientations, and trainings for beneficiaries, staff, and volunteers on safe motherhood (including ANC/PNC), nutrition, and related topics.

• Provide support to the 20-bed government hospital, particularly in the emergency and gynecology departments.

• Closely monitor project activities related to essential nutrition and health actions.

• Contribute to the planning, design, and implementation of nutrition and health projects.

• Prepare periodic reports, case studies, guidelines, and other project-related documentation.

• Participate in regular meetings, trainings, and workshops organized by the office, projects, nutrition and health sectors, the 20-bed government hospital, ARRRC, CIC office, and other relevant entities.

• Maintain regular interaction, communication, and rapport-building with relevant stakeholders and authorities, including the nutrition and health department, and other NGOs/INGOs.

• Conduct frequent field visits to project sites, ensuring proper follow-up and monitoring as needed.

• Share lessons learned and provide constructive feedback to colleagues to help ensure program quality.

• Salary Range: Tk. 42,900/= (consolidated) per month, plus other benefits as per project /organizational policy.

• Bonus: As per organizational policy.
