Responsibilities:
Provide physiotherapy service at Friendship physiotherapy center and HHs based.
Assist in including persons with disabilities in the mainstream of society according to the CBR matrix.
Conduct HHs visit, family counselling, referral, awareness building, community mobilization, staff & beneficiaries capacity building.
Ensuring inclusion of persons with disabilities; identifying persons with disabilities for selecting and distributing assistive devices.
Develop an individual monthly plan and a quarterly implementation plan for self and selected beneficiaries.
Develop and follow-up beneficiaries’ ADL plan at HHs based.
Prepare report (weekly, monthly, half-yearly, annually, event, etc.), support in preparing project report.
To provide capacity building support and develop effective linkages between the community and health service providers.
Organize PT camp with JPUF jointly and independently at project areas such as isolated chars.
Provide caregivers training on ADL, continuing home exercise and related therapeutic activities
Arrange a capacity building session on disability for project staff & CBR workers.
Guide technical supervisors and CBR workers on disability prevention issues.
Conduct pre-primary disability screening with assessment and refer to DSS.
Home modification work at the community level (as per assessment and design), such as installation of ramps, handrails, etc.
Maintain the Friendship physiotherapy center and support staff activities.
Any kind of task complete which provided by HO or higher management.
Educational Requirements
Bachelor’s of Physiotherapy degree.
Safeguarding Responsibilities:
Adhere to the Friendship children and adults at risk safeguarding policy, ensuring the safety and well-being of all project participants.
Promote a safe and secure environment for all beneficiaries and stakeholders of the project.
Additional Requirements
1/2 years’ experience (freshers are also encouraged to apply).
Excellent facilitation, presentation and multi-tasks skills.
In-depth knowledge of the Persons with disabilities rights and protection act 2013 gender, disability inclusion and CBR matrix is desirable.
Ability to work independently within a team, work under pressure and meet specific deadlines.
People with disabilities and safeguarding sensitive.
Ability to communicate in a courteous and professional manner with project stakeholders
Good written & spoken communication in English and Bengali.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
