∎ Rupantar, a development organization has been working in Disaster Management & Climate Change adaptation, Democracy & Political empowerment, Popular Media & Folk Theatre, Children & Youth rights and Peace & Tolerance. Rupantar is now inviting applications from suitable experienced and interested candidate to work coastal areas for filling up the following job vacancies to work in a climate change focused project supported by CARE Bangladesh dealing with Climate Risk Mitigation in Bagerhat District.
∎ Project Name : Community Led Innovation for Climate Risk Mitigation in Bangladesh - CLIMB
∎ Job Location : Sarankhola Upazilla in Bagerhat District
∎ Project Duration: 1st August, 2022 to 31st August, 2025
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Work closely with community and provide technical support as necessary
∎ Day to day project activity monitoring for quality and timely implementation
∎ Necessary Information collection for Beneficiary/participant selection and PDM
∎ Ensure smooth operation in terms of organizing Upazila/Union Inception meeting and distribution event
∎ Assist Project officer to achieve project GOALs
∎ Assist Project officer to collect good case stories and photographs from field
Additional Requirements:
∎ Previous experience in Voluntary Activities
∎ Is widely accepted among the community and have good reputation
∎ Ability to maintain a good relationship with the community, respective UDMC and local elites
∎ Good verbal and written communication skills
∎ Ability to work collect and input large volume of data
∎ Knowledge in good record keeping practices
∎ Good understanding on issues related to gender equity and protection
Salary:
∎ An amount of 22,000/- per month with 5% increment
