Job Context:
∎ The Field Facilitator supports RIMES projects in Bangladesh in the following areas: responsible for communicating with local stakeholders i.e. Local Government Institutions, DMC members, NGO workers, community people etc.; provide necessary support to understand the technical aspects and spread to the stakeholders. The Field Facilitator also supports the Department of Disaster Management (DDM) and Flood Forecasting and Warning Center (FFWC) at field level as per requirement.
∎ Duty station: Kurigram, Bangladesh. RIMES has right to change the job location when necessary.
∎ Duration: Initially for One year, renewed based on satisfactory performance.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Statement of Work:
∎ Managing and implementing projects
∎ Communicate with relevant local level stakeholders for implementing project activities
∎ Work for capacity building of target households, community leaders, LGIs etc. on mobilization, knowledge development and information dissemination
∎ Assist in arranging meetings, workshop, training at district, upazila and union level for program and target beneficiaries and others
∎ Work closely with DRRO and PIOs for project activities
∎ Collect voice message recipient data, organize volunteer team
∎ Arrange FGDs, KII sessions for assessment studies
∎ Adequate supports to the target communities, assist in preparing budget; assist in organizing workshop, seminar, meeting for program and target beneficiaries and others
∎ Ensures participation of required member/partner at field level
∎ Handling equipment management and distribution
∎ Manage installation of floodplain gauges or any other equipment as may be required.
∎ Supporting gauge reader in collecting data using smart mobile
∎ Facilitate training of volunteers if needs be
∎ And other relevant field level assignments
∎ Support to monitoring and evaluation of projects
∎ Keep track of project deliverables and timelines to ensure timely delivery
∎ Assist in identifying constraints and problems in efficient project delivery, and recommend corrective actions
∎ Provide narrative, qualitative, and quantitative monitoring information/data to support monthly, quarterly, and annual reports to update the regional coordinator
∎ Technical and Others
∎ Perform data entry, manage project calendar, create budgetary report
∎ Support Local level DDM and BWDB offices in areas of need, as assigned by immediate supervisors
∎ Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by immediate supervisors
∎ Expected Outputs:
∎ Monthly progress reports on assigned tasks
∎ Project deliverables according to timeline agreed with immediate supervisors

Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 1 years of relevant experience
∎ Good organizational skills; good English proficiency in communication, and report writing
∎ Excellent interpersonal skills; team-oriented work style; pleasant personality; strong desire to learn and undertake new challenges; a creative problem-solver; willingness to work hard; interest and experience in working in a multi-cultural environment
