Educational Requirements:
∎ Minimum Bachelor degree in social science or any other discipline from a reputed university.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Properly formation of Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) at village, Union, Upazila and District level.
∎ Organise and facilitate regular monthly meeting of CSOs at village level and bi-monthly and quarterly meeting at Upazila and District level and follow-up the action plan of CSOs.
∎ Capacity building of CSOs by organising and facilitating training on governance and accountability, participatory planning and actions, conflict sensitive democratic dialogue and RTI, gender equality and justice, women's and girls' empowerment, and prevention of gender and identity-based violence.
∎ Organise spouse meeting, information fair, road show campaign on RTI, public events on rights and governance issues.
∎ Support CSOs to facilitate RTI applications at local authorities.
∎ Support to the HR violence survivors and provide rapid response support.
∎ Organise and facilitate joint planning and need assessment workshops at union, Upazila and district level.
∎ Organise a conflict sensitive democratic dialogue meetings of CSOs and Local Authorities (Las) at union, Upazila and District level.
∎ Organise knowledge fair against child marriage, violence against women and girls, cyber bullying and sexual harassment.
∎ Assist to organise significant public events.
∎ Organise stage street theatre performances.
∎ Document the projects learnings, monthly qualitative and quantitative achievements, challenges and prepare periodic reports as per project requirements.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 45 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Knowledge on human rights, women's rights, domestic violence, child marriage and subsequent Acts.
∎ Knowledge on target group selection from ultra poor communities.
∎ Able to drive motor cycle having valid driving license and frequent field visit.
∎ Willing to live remote areas.
∎ Computer literacy on MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint will be added value.
∎ Able to prepare factual reports
∎ Good analytical skill and ability to work under pressure
∎ Awareness and sensitivity regarding gender issues and respect for diversity
Salary:
∎ Tk. 14600 (Monthly)
∎ Contributory Provident Fund, Gratuity, Medical Allowance, Travel Allowance, Health Insurance and Leave Benefits will be entitled as per organizational policy.
