Job Context:
∎ DASCOH Foundation is looking for dynamic young and energetic Field Facilitator of its` "Young people at high schools strengthen women`s rights and inclusive governance in Bangladesh Project" supported by the NETZ Partnership for Development and Justice.
∎ This position is mainly responsible for implementing the project activities in achieving the project results according to preset objectives; documents of the achievement and reporting. Field Facilitator of the project is responsible for planning, organizing and implementing the project activities of his/her assigned area to promote and protect gender equality, women’s rights, empowerment and prevent gender based violence through proper mobilizing the community as well as the Civil Society Organizations (CSO). Contact and properly communication with the Civil Society Organizations (CSO) at village, Union, Upazila and District level. Coordination of the conflict sensitive democratic dialogue between the CSOs and government agencies. S/he must liaison with the local level stakeholder; coordinate with CSOs activist and alliances.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Properly formation of different forum like CSOs and Couples group etc in her/his assigned area
∎ Implement project intervention as per project needs and the direction of management team
∎ Sensitize the community as well as the LGI and line department people on CSOs, violence against women, advocacy and the democracy of his/her assigned area.
∎ Facilitate Training/meeting/workshop of CSOs member on conflict Sensitive democratic dialogue, Rights to Information Act, information fair and spouse meeting etc.
∎ Facilitate local level dialogue and planning meeting in collaboration with Local Authorities (LAS).
∎ Coordination of public events activities within the national campaign.
∎ Organize different capacity building events as when required
∎ Collect project data and share with project management for analysis and use
∎ Ensure quality of the implementing activities of the project
∎ Conduct periodic monitoring following standard procedure and reports as per project requirement
∎ Organize fair against child marriage, violence against women and girls, cyber bullying and sexual harassment in her/his jurisdictions
∎ Develop and apply RTI application.
∎ Support to HR violence survivors and provide rapid response support.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 40 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Sound background of project implementation, group formation etc;
∎ Sound knowledge on Human rights, Women and Child rights, violence against women, child marriage and subsequent acts and rules.
∎ Able to make plan and organizing task;
∎ Able to drive M/C with valid driving license;
∎ Willing to live in remote areas;
∎ Able to prepare factual report/MIS documentation;
∎ Excellent analytical skills;
∎ Excellent in team work, networking and communication.
Salary: Tk. 14600 (Monthly)
