Job Context:
∎ Dhaka Ahsania Mission (DAM) invites applications for the following position of the ongoing SHOUHARDO III Plus Program , in partnership with CARE Bangladesh and funding support of USAID. The goal of the project is to "Improve gender equitable food security, nutrition and resilience of vulnerable people living in the char and haor in Bangladesh by 2024. DAM is implementing the SHOUHARDO III plus program in Sunamganj ( Taherpur & Dowarabazar Upazillas) and Hobiganj ( Baniachong & Ajmiriganj Upazillas) district supported by CARE Bangladesh from November 2022.
∎ Name of position: Field Facilitator- Agriculture & Nutrition
∎ Employment Status: Contractual Initial contract up to July 31, 2024
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Program planning and implementation of Agriculture & Livelihoods and Nutrition component at Union/village level
∎ Capacity building of Local Service Providers (LSPs) engaging Government and Private sector's actors including linkage support
∎ Support Project Officer in preparing monthly activity plan, achievement reports, quarterly reports, annual report and other report as necessary
∎ Facilitation, networking and coordination with UP level service providers and establish linkage among community and service providers.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Having solid working experience in Nutrition and Agriculture components preferably USAID funded program
∎ Working experience on Private Sector Engagement with special focus on Local Service Provider handling.
∎ Good track record on community mobilization, negotiation, commination and linkage building with Public and Private sector's entities
Salary: Tk. 20000 (Monthly)
