Job Context:
∎ SACHETAN SOCIETY has wide and long experience to implement community mobilization program in rural areas successfully. In consultation with SMC, SACHETAN SOCIETY is intend to implement this program in urban and peri-urban areas of Rajshahi city to reach the low and middle income population where GSM can take the advantage of disseminating information and messages relating to FP-MCH, health and hygiene, ASRH, nutrition as well as creating demand for SMC public health products. Capitalizing on the huge unmet demand for public health products among the low and middle income population various innovative promotional strategies will be adapted to catch up the intended audience groups.
∎ Job Purpose: Field Coordinator will be responsible to implement the community mobilization activities as per plan and will report to Project Manager (PM). The Field Coordinator will provide support to the Community Mobilization Officer (CMO) to perform their daily activities and will achieve the annual projection of the program. S/he will work in close coordination with other project staff i.e. Monitoring Officer, Accounts & Admin Officer and Deputy Project Manager and other staff. The Upazila Supervisor is also expected to maintain a good working relationship with project team, and local government and non-government actors.
∎ Working area: Rajshahi city.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Prepare work plan monthly
∎ Report/ work plan analysis (Target vs Achievement) and prepare action plan to achieve the program and sales target
∎ Support to CMO for arrange MWRA, adolescent meeting, SMC meeting, Advocacy meeting etc.
∎ Maintain stock register, leave, bank deposit, BCC materials, sales memo etc.
∎ Analysis of MPDTR, Tracking report etc.
∎ Compilation of Product requisition and submit to PM
∎ Ensure product supply in time
∎ Conduct advocacy meeting at word level
∎ Monitoring School session, MWRA, Newlywed and GSM activity
∎ Arrange GSM monthly meeting
∎ Monthly/ quarterly/ yearly Reporting
∎ Update GSM list, support to fill up vacant GSM
∎ Attend GO-NGO coordination meeting and rapport build-up
∎ Coordinate with Sales Officer, SSPO, Area Executive, PO-CM, A&AO, DM,MO, DPM & PM for day-to-day activity
∎ Update all documentation and records
∎ Responsible for implementation of overall BCC and community mobilization activities
∎ Collect and compile data and information from the district offices
∎ Distribute materials and logistics including other things to the district offices
∎ Visit field offices and provide supportive supervision
∎ Compile monthly and quarterly performance report
∎ Carry out any others tasks as and when required
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 40 years
∎ Applicants with relevant experience in other health programs will be given preference
∎ Age may be relaxed for the extra ordinary candidates
∎ Excellent people management skills
∎ Risk assessment & minimization
∎ Proactive and excellent communication skills
∎ Sound in MS Office
∎ Comfortable and persuasive when speaking before both large and small group
∎ Women candidates will get preference.
