Job Context:

∎ The USAID`s Alliance for Combating TB in Bangladesh project will develop a dynamic, strategic, and fresh approach to accelerate Bangladesh`s fight against TB. The solutions will be aimed at creating an environment aligned with the universal health coverage (UHC) vision and focused on defined priority areas - increased TB detection, decentralized DR-TB management, child TB, expanded prevention, and others.
∎ Location: Different Districts/Upazilas of Rangpur Division
∎ Contract Type and duration: Short Term Contractual Service Agreement; duration will be 6 months with a possibility of extension subject to availability of fund and performance.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ The Field Attendants will report to the Assistant Programme Manager. The position holder will be responsible to screen TB patients from different districts and upazilas of Rangpur Division (ACTB activity areas). S/he will be involved in-
∎ Understand and collect patient's information through Tab/Computer;
∎ Download X-ray/test reports and distribute them to the patients and keep proper documentation;
∎ Maintain necessary registry book for patients;
∎ Check the household of TB patients;
∎ Maintain relationships with respective areas' medicine pharmacies;
∎ Generate daily/weekly reports;
∎ Maintenance of electronic devices as well as X-Ray machine;
∎ Take responsibility of other staff in their absence.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 1-year relevant experience, however candidates having experience working in TB screening will be given preference.

Salary:
∎ Tk.17,100/-per month (consolidated) inclusive of house rent and conveyance allowances;

Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ Festival bonus, income tax paid by icddr,b.
