Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor degree in Agriculture, Forestry, Agribusiness, Business/Agricultural Marketing or 3 years Diploma Degree in Agriculture
∎ Experience in Value Chain would be an added advantage.

∎ At least 1 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Promote the use of modern farming practice and techniques through training, advising farmers, farm visits and demonstrations so as to transform targeted families from subsistence to commercial farmers in line with GoB policy.
∎ Participatory selection of beneficiaries, prioritization of cash for work activities, life skills awareness raising, and capacity building of the groups.
∎ Promote Livelihoods project model for faster adoption of improved farming technologies towards building secure livelihoods for the marginal poor.
∎ Participate in Livelihood planning, budgeting, implementation and monitoring of progress.
∎ Mobilize and facilitate the engagements of stakeholders during planning and development meetings, workshops and other fora.
∎ Identify project beneficiaries in collaboration with Local structures and in accordance with the laid down guidelines/rules and timeframe.
∎ Coordinate project activities with sub-county authorities, government extension agents and other partners at community level.
∎ Develop the farmer's capacity to improve production and productivity of selected enterprises of desired quality
∎ Document and maintain records pertaining to training, production activities forward issues to management for decisions and appropriate action in line with WVB policies.
∎ Write up accurate and timely reports pertaining to all planned activities in the required format and submit to the Field Officer Livelihood.
∎ Participate in monthly / quarterly reflection meetings with Child Monitors and guardians/parents and child protection committees to address findings from monitoring.
∎ Monitor the wellbeing and child abuse cases and report any incidents in line with child protection policy and guidelines.
∎ Work with local leaders to protect children from child violations and abuses
∎ Sensitize children including most vulnerable, guardians/parents and other stakeholders about children’s rights and responsibilities.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 1 year’s professional work experience in livelihood humanitarian/ development work including in displacement setting.
∎ Have excellent data collecting, and analytical skills.
∎ Have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Bangla.
∎ Must have proficiency in computers, email, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
∎ Have excellent time management and organizational skills; ability to prioritize and execute.
∎ Possess skills or openness to working with others from different cultures.
∎ Must be self-motivated and have the ability to work and communicate well in a team
∎ Have knowledge of or desire to learn about permaculture and agroecology
∎ Competence in agro business planning, development and profitability analysis
∎ Practicing accountability and integrity.
∎ Communicating information effectively
∎ Thinking clearly, deeply and broadly.
∎ Understanding the Humanitarian Industry.
∎ Practicing innovation and change
∎ Computer literacy
∎ Willing to work in rural places.
