Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Fashion Design Technology, Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Fashion Design Technology, Diploma in Textile Engineering in Fashion Design Technology
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 4 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Prepare design, hand-drawn sketches, flat patterns, technical drawings, and other required art/illustrations which are aligned with management expectations.
∎ Develop Tech Packs, mood boards that are contemporary to market, customer expectations, and Apex design language.
∎ Follow on-time product development plan and timelines, and communicate with sample team to make the products in a given time-frame.
∎ Collaborate with vendors for following up orders and make sure the production is going on according to designs.
∎ Conducting market research to identify new trends, create seasonal color palettes, mood, and seeking design inspiration.
∎ Develop a pattern that is cut and sewn into sample garments and supervising the creation of these, including fitting, detailing and adaptations to produce attractive products.
∎ Execution of the design process of ethnic wear from conception through to final styling for a planned increase in sales.

∎ Fabric Knowledge (Woven, Knit, Traditional and Textile)
∎ Trend Research
∎ Advanced Tech Pack knowledge
∎ Production related knowledge (Trimming, Finishing, and Washing)
∎ Sample Development
∎ Technical knowledge (all type manual embroideries, Understand Fits and analyze comments with the technical team)
∎ Expertise in pattern making
∎ Trend Forecast knowledge
