Responsibilities:
Advise clients on family law matters such as divorce, separation, custody, and support
Explain legal rights, obligations, and possible outcomes
Provide sensitive and confidential guidance during emotional situations
Handle contested and uncontested divorces
Prepare and file divorce petitions, responses, and settlements
Advise on division of marital property and assets
Represent clients in custody, visitation, and child support matters
Advocate for the best interests of the child
Modify custody or support orders when circumstances change
Assess eligibility for spousal support
Negotiate or litigate alimony arrangements
Enforce or modify spousal support orders
Facilitate settlements through mediation or negotiation
Reduce conflict and encourage amicable resolutions
Draft settlement and parenting agreements
Represent clients in family court hearings and trials
Present evidence, examine witnesses, and argue motions
Handle protection orders and enforcement proceedings
Draft and review legal documents such as:
Prenuptial and postnuptial agreements

Guide clients through adoption processes
