Educational Requirements:
∎ Graduation / Masters in any discipline from any reputed University.
∎ Advanced training on Factory Planning will be an added advantage.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Must have strong communication skills along with sharing information in a team setting, plan, reschedule, and revision intention and willingness to work under pressure as a sound team player.
∎ Prepare Standard Minute Value (S.M.V) calculation for all the sections by time study. Based on S.M.V provide production day target and shipment plan.
∎ Ensure setting up the most efficient production capacity of each section- Cutting, Sewing, Washing, and Finishing. For Sewing line-wise production capacity (pieces per day per line).
∎ Coordinate with the factory on acquiring size set approval and pattern adjustment.
∎ Conduct Pre-Production (PP) meeting with concerned departments to meet the PSD (Production Start Date) such as PP sample approval, fabric in house status, availability of trims, and pilot run process before PCD (Planed Cut Date).
∎ Rigorously following up daily production target Vs. achievement, washing time frame achievement, finishing with per day packaging status to meet the committed delivery date.
∎ Conducting Weekly OSR (Order Status Review) meeting to check all order statuses and taking actions on exception issues.
∎ Collaborate with Merchandising, Sample, Store, Production, Washing, Quality, Finishing, and the Commercial department to meet the shipment schedule.
∎ Coordinate with other operations like Embroidery, Printing, Heat transfer, and Hard work.
∎ Investigate production problems (such as Store, Cutting, Sewing, Quality, and Finishing), analyse root causes, and provide solutions.
∎ Plan and prioritize operation to ensure maximum production/performance and minimum delay.
∎ Provide analysis and prepare daily production-related reports such as line, floor, section wise production, efficiency, and submit to Senior Manager.
∎ Analyse back orders, current orders, and upcoming orders to prioritize, plan, and schedule the production operations
∎ Follow up on the production line to achieve the given production target within the budget and apply new methods with self-initiative.
∎ Assign workers and other staff for particular operations and make schedule shifts according to production needs.
∎ Make all buyer order status reports, buyer wise inspection plans, and follow up on a daily basis.
∎ Prepare and submit monthly production style and efficiency reports.
∎ Prepare and submit weekly department KPIs, relevant data, and information for the Monthly Management review meeting report.
∎ Follow up on shipment targets weekly, monthly, quarterly, half-yearly, and yearly basis.
∎ Any other task assigned by the management from time to time.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 40 years
∎ 5 years' experience with a minimum of 2 years of experience as Executive, in the Planning Department or Industrial Engineering Department.
∎ Working experience with a reputed Group of Companies/ Foreign/Multinational Companies/ Large Garment Industries will be an added advantage.
∎ Experience must be in the Ready-Made Garments industry.
∎ Goal-oriented, sound team player, good communication and collaborative skills, critical thinking, problem-solving skills, leadership skills, ability to make a decision independently, positive and proactive approach to work, good planning, organizational and analytical skills to assess risk and has initiative, ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, well-groomed and ready to work with a big team format.
∎ Proficient in computer literacy and being well accustomed to email culture is a must.
∎ Should have good communication skills both written and verbal in English.
