Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor degree in any discipline, Masters degree in any discipline
∎ B.Sc in Textile Engineering/ Apparel Manufacturing from a recognized university. Graduation in Textile Engineering from BUTex will get preference

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Febric Marketing, Merchandising
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Buying House, Garments, Textile

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Experience in sample development by local fabric sourcing, development and with offshore fabric mill exposure to select the right fabric in right price.
∎ Partners with brand Design, R&D and key suppliers to develop innovative Fabric and quality product to meet customer demand
∎ Partners with Fabric Mill management, QA and technical teams to resolve fabric quality and compliance issues
∎ Resolves issues within a timely manner while working to continuously improve and create internal and external processes and procedures- Responsible for product development and order placement in efficient and effective manner
∎ Supports category team in problem solving, information sharing and counter sourcing to support best placement plan
∎ Manages counter costing; Handling samples; Tracking fit approvals; Tracking lab dips
∎ Learning Agility & Experimentation - demonstrates eagerness to learn and explore new ways of approaching goals
