  • Excellent communication skills (written & verbal) for international buyer communication.
  • Strong price negotiation, planning ability, and problem-solving mindset.

Responsibilities & Context:

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Fabric Marketing Manager to lead our woven fabric marketing and development team. The ideal candidate must have strong technical understanding of fabric constructions, dyeing/finishing processes, excellent negotiation ability, and strong coordination skills with R&D, production, planning and QA.

A key expectation is the ability to generate leads and source buyers from multiple international markets and product segments.

Key Responsibilities

Buyer Development, Lead Generation & Sales Growth

  • Generate new leads and source buyers across different markets (USA, EU, Asia, Middle East) and segments (casualwear, workwear, uniform, fashion, kids).
  • Build and manage long-term relationships with international brands, buying houses, and agents.
  • Develop strategic sales plans to achieve annual woven fabric revenue targets.
  • Prepare costing, quotations, sample programs, and business proposals.

Fabric Development & Technical Support

  • Deep understanding of woven fabric specs: yarn count, EPI/PPI, GSM, weave, finishing, dyeing type.
  • Guide the development of lab dips, handlooms, yardage samples and bulk approval packets.
  • Identify and develop new fabric innovations with the R&D team.

Order Execution & Internal Coordination

  • Lead communication with Planning, Weaving, Dyeing, Finishing and QA teams.
  • Ensure buyer requirements are translated into clear production instructions.
  • Monitor all developments and bulk orders through T&A to ensure on-time submission and shipment.
  • Resolve technical issues (shade variation, skew, GSM faults, finishing differences) quickly and professionally.

Team Leadership

  • Manage and mentor Sr Executives/Executives.
  • Conduct weekly performance reviews and lead cross-functional meetings.
