∎ LL.B/ LL.M from a University recognized by the Bar Standards Board

Experience Requirements:
∎ 3 to 5 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ To review land related documents for preparing land report/vetting/opinion before purchasing/signing of related agreements.
∎ Verify authenticity of land documents through concerned land related offices. Sound knowledge on Mouza Map and other land related issues.
∎ Sound knowledge on mutation related works involved with RAJUK, National Housing Authority, Ministry of Works, AC Land office etc.
∎ Proper knowledge on approval process of Power of Attorney (POA) acceptance from RAJUK, National Housing Authority, Ministry of Works along with Foreign POA attestation and authentication from Foreign Ministry & DC office as well as demarcation, unification and construction permission from RAJUK, National Housing Authority, Ministry of Works etc.
∎ To look after and complete land/agreement registration process with concerned Sub-registry office.
∎ Ensure timely obtaining of Occupancy Certificate from concerned authority.
∎ Devising contracts with agents, partners, or clients as per the laws.
∎ Providing legal assistance to the Human Resources team of the company for employment matters and drafting contracts for employment and other related matters in light of relevant laws.
∎ Preparing and sending legal notices to default clients, filing of legal or civil cases for defaulting payments.
∎ Preserving the company's IP assets such as trademarks, copyrights, patents, brand names (registrations and renewals), etc.
∎ Coordinating with legal consultants or liaison agencies for legal cases and dispute resolutions.
∎ Coordinating with the management for consultation and strategic direction with due compliance related to contractual, legal, and regulatory obligations.
∎ Providing legal assistance to functional/department heads and managing leadership in developing agreements, communications, and policies.
∎ Must have the capacity to manage all sorts of activities of Legal Department.

Additional Requirements:
∎ 3-5 years of work experience with reputed real estate company
∎ Candidates with first hand professional experience will be given preference but freshers are highly encouraged to apply.
∎ Proven expertise on property related matters with strong knowledge on housing and land laws, procedures and practices prevailing in Bangladesh.
∎ Excellent computer proficiency and sound knowledge on both spoken and written English.
