Responsibilities & Context:
Supervised daily warehouse operations, including the receiving, storage, and distribution of goods.
Managed inventory control, ensuring accurate stock levels through regular audits and cycle counts also managed ERP software.
Coordinated the movement of goods within the warehouse and organized efficient shelving and storage systems.
Led a team of warehouse staff and monitored their work, including assigning tasks, providing training, and conducting performance evaluations.
Ensured compliance with safety regulations and company policies for handling goods and operating warehouse equipment.
Processed and documented shipments, including picking, packing, labeling, and shipping orders accurately and on time.
Worked closely with purchasing and logistics teams to ensure timely stock replenishment and distribution.
Oversaw the management of warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.), ensuring their maintenance and safe use.
Improved warehouse efficiency by optimizing layout and workflows, leading to operational efficiency.
