We are currently looking for an ambitious individual to join this team in the role of Executive/Senior Executive (Shipping & Logistics) for Toggi Shipping & Logistics Ltd., Sector-C
Job Responsibility:-
- Manage day-to-day operations at jetties, including berth allocation, vessel traffic, and cargo handling
- Coordinate with vessel masters, shipping agents, port authorities, and internal teams for vessel scheduling
- Monitor vessel movements and cargo operations to minimise laytime, idle time, and demurrage exposure
- Supervise lighter vessel loading/unloading at designated jetties or anchorage
- Plan and oversee preventive maintenance schedules for lighter vessels and related equipment (cranes, grabs, conveyor belts, etc.)
- Coordinate repairs, dry-docking, or overhauls with shipyards, workshops, and vendors.
- Maintain vessel certification records and ensure statutory compliance for safe operation
- Participate in planning logistics projects (e.g. jetty upgrades, fleet expansion, facility improvement)
- Liaise with engineering, operations, and management teams for successful project execution
- Maintain detailed records of vessel activities and cargo operations for precise laytime calculation
- Oversee documentation for inbound and outbound shipments
- Supervise loading/unloading operations for cement raw materials like clinker, gypsum, slag, limestone, fly ash, etc
- Verify cargo measurements (e.g. draft survey, weighbridge data, bunker survey) to reconcile received vs. dispatched quantities.
- Plan and coordinate the inland transportation of raw materials and finished products between the jetty, the plant, and customer sites.
