Job Responsibilities:
∎ Developing and implementing an IT strategy that aligns with the organization's goals and objectives.
∎ Ensuring that the organization's IT systems are secure, reliable, and efficient.
∎ Stay up-to-date with the latest IT products, equipment, and gadgets in the market. Conduct research to understand their features, specifications, and capabilities. Evaluate and compare different products to determine their suitability for the organization's needs.
∎ Identify reliable vendors and suppliers for IT products and equipment. Establish relationships with vendors and negotiate contracts and pricing. Ensure timely delivery of products and maintain good working relationships with vendors.
∎ Maintain an inventory of IT products, equipment, and gadgets. Track stock levels, monitor usage, and ensure an adequate supply of necessary items. Coordinate with procurement teams to replenish stock as needed.
∎ Monitor market trends and analyze pricing for IT products and gadgets. Compare prices across different vendors and suppliers to identify cost-effective options. Provide recommendations on pricing strategies and cost-saving opportunities.
∎ Collaborate with procurement teams to source IT products and equipment. Assist in the procurement process, including preparing purchase orders, reviewing specifications, and ensuring compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
∎ Coordinate the deployment of IT equipment and gadgets, including installation, configuration, and testing. Ensure proper maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment to minimize downtime.
∎ Assist in the budgeting process by providing information on IT product costs, market prices, and sourcing options.
∎ Maintain accurate records of IT products, equipment, and gadgets, including purchase details, warranties, and maintenance logs. Generate reports on inventory, procurement activities, and pricing analysis.
∎ Continuously update knowledge and stay informed about emerging IT products, equipment, and gadgets.
