ABOUT THE ROLE

Wintel Limited is looking for an experienced and dynamic Deputy General Manager (DGM) – IT & Technical Operations to lead our technical operations, product engineering, enterprise solutions, software architecture, digital transformation, automation, and innovation initiatives.

The successful candidate will provide strategic and operational leadership to technical teams and drive the development, implementation, scalability, and continuous improvement of technology products and enterprise solutions aligned with the Company's business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Leadership & Operations

• Lead and manage IT and Technical Operations teams.

• Build, mentor, and develop high-performing technical teams.

• Plan technical resources, recruitment, and team capacity based on business and project requirements.

• Establish technical standards, documentation, operational procedures, KPIs, and SLAs.

• Monitor team performance, project delivery, system availability, and service quality.

Product & Enterprise Solution Management

• Lead the design, development, integration, deployment, and support of TVAS/MVAS and enterprise technology solutions.

• Manage and enhance platforms such as WinFin, WinText, Bulk Data Platforms, Enterprise Messaging Platforms, and Custom Enterprise Applications.

• Lead product roadmaps, feature prioritization, product enhancement, modernization, and lifecycle management.

• Provide technical support for client acquisition, product demonstrations, solution presentations, onboarding, and post-sales consulting.

Digital Transformation, AI & Automation:

• Identify opportunities for business process automation and operational efficiency.

• Lead the development of CRM, task management, VAS tracking, revenue analytics, billing, and reconciliation automation systems.

• Evaluate and implement Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Robotic Process Automation (RPA) solutions.

• Develop AI-powered products and intelligent automation initiatives that improve efficiency and create new business opportunities.

Software Architecture & Project Management:

• Provide end-to-end technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle.

• Design secure, scalable, high-availability software architectures.

• Prepare technical specifications, system architecture documents, project plans, roadmaps, resource plans, and risk assessments.

• Lead QA, UAT, deployment, post-production support, and continuous improvement.

• Ensure adherence to software development standards and best practices.

Integration & Strategic Partnerships:

• Lead API and third-party integration projects.

• Manage technical relationships with telecom operators, financial institutions, vendors, clients, and technology partners.

• Coordinate with Telco Integration, Billing, B2B, Business Development, Sales, and other relevant teams.

• Provide technical consulting during strategic partnerships and commercial engagements.

Innovation & Strategic Technology Planning

• Develop long-term technology roadmaps aligned with business strategy.

• Lead R&D initiatives involving emerging technologies.

• Evaluate industry trends, competitor technologies, new platforms, and innovative business models.

• Identify opportunities for new products, services, and revenue-generating technology solutions.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Minimum 10 years of relevant professional experience, including significant experience in technical leadership or management.

• Proven experience leading software engineering, IT operations, product development, or enterprise technology teams.

• Strong experience in enterprise solution design, software architecture, project delivery, and technical operations.

• Experience in telecom, VAS/MVAS, A2P messaging, MFS, enterprise solutions, API integration, or related technology sectors will be highly advantageous.
