Commitment: This is a full 40-hour-per-week role. It is your primary job, not a side project alongside other clients or contracts.
English: Excellent spoken and written English is required. You'll be on live video calls with the founder regularly and working directly with him — there is no manager translating between you.
Hours: You set your own schedule, but we need at least 4 hours of daily overlap with US Eastern time — roughly 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM Bangladesh time.
We're building and operating two growing SaaS products using a highly AI-assisted development model. We move quickly, ship frequently, and use tools like Claude Code to accelerate development.
What we need now is someone who can make sure everything continues to work as the products grow.
This is not a traditional "sit down and code tickets all day" engineering role.
You'll be the person responsible for having eyes on the technical health of the business — making sure new features don't break existing ones, errors get caught and fixed, systems work together properly, and our products remain stable as we continue to build rapidly with AI.
You'll work closely with the founder/product team and use AI coding tools as part of your everyday workflow.
We're not going to make you guess. Here's what's actually running:
Frontend
React + TypeScript + Vite for the customer-facing product
Lightweight vanilla JS/HTML single-page apps for our internal analytics dashboards (fast, no framework tax)
Deployed on Vercel with git-connected auto-deploys, preview builds, custom domains
Backend & data
Supabase across several projects: Postgres, SQL migrations, RPC/SQL functions, Row Level Security, Supabase Auth
Edge Functions written in TypeScript/Deno — this is where most of our business logic lives
Scheduled work via pg_cron; server-side rollups for anything the client shouldn't be paging through
Node.js services where we need something outside the edge runtime
Integrations — honestly, this is the job
GoHighLevel (CRM, leads, invoices, payments) and Follow Up Boss
Google Analytics 4, Google OAuth / sign-in, Google Business Profile
Meta / Facebook Marketing API (campaigns, creatives, catalogs)
Cloudinary (media pipeline), Resend (transactional email), Airtable, Plaid, Shopify, WordPress REST API, Semrush, Zapier

A committed Playwright/Node smoke suite that walks a dashboard end to end with external services stubbed
GA4 and Microsoft Clarity on the front end
Health/status rows written by each automated routine so we can see when one silently stopped
Expanding our error tracking and alerting (Sentry or similar) is an early project you'd lead
Mobile
iOS App Store distribution and push notifications for the agent-facing product; PWA install today, native wrapper (Capacitor) on the roadmap
AI tooling
Claude Code daily, MCP servers wired into our tools, AI-generated pull requests as a normal part of the workflow
Make sure new features are properly tested before release
Build and maintain automated tests for critical user workflows — signup/auth, lead capture, billing and revenue reporting
Test that changes in one part of the application don't break another
Create regression tests when bugs are discovered
Regularly test the products from the perspective of a real user
Establish a reliable pre-release testing process (today it's a smoke suite and a careful human; it should be CI)
Monitor application errors, failed processes, broken integrations and unexpected behavior
Investigate issues before they become major problems
Set up systems that alert us when something breaks
Identify patterns in recurring errors
Make sure important failures are visible rather than silently occurring in the background
Our SaaS products involve multiple interconnected systems, databases, APIs, automations and third-party services. You will make sure those pieces continue to work together.
A real chain from our stack:
Website form → Supabase Edge Function → CRM contact created → sync table → dashboard leads board → automated text/email → GA4 conversion event → revenue reporting
When that breaks, it usually breaks quietly — the board just stops filling up. If something breaks anywhere along that chain, you should be able to identify where it happened, why it happened, and how to prevent it from happening again.
Work alongside Claude Code and other AI development tools
Review AI-generated code before or after it reaches production
Catch architectural problems and unintended side effects from AI-generated changes
Establish guardrails for what AI can safely modify — including our scheduled agents that push code and write to production data unattended
Use AI aggressively for implementation while maintaining human oversight of quality and architecture
Help improve our development process so we can ship faster without becoming fragile
Diagnose and fix production bugs
Clean up technical debt before it becomes a larger problem
Refactor areas of the application that have become unnecessarily complex
Improve performance and reliability
Keep dependencies, environments and infrastructure healthy — including keeping deployed edge functions and the code in the repo from drifting apart
Document important technical decisions and system behavior
You don't need to rebuild everything.
You do need to recognize when something we've built is going in the wrong direction.
You'll periodically assess:
Is this architecture still making sense?
Are we creating unnecessary complexity?
Are there duplicated systems or logic?
Are our database structures healthy?
Are our APIs and integrations reliable?
Are we creating technical debt faster than we're paying it down?
What needs to be fixed now versus what can wait?
So you know what you'd be working on in your first few months — this is a real, working, revenue-producing stack:
Expand error tracking and alerting so failures surface on their own
Ongoing security review across our projects — access controls, permissions and credential management
Automated regression coverage on our most important user paths
Tighter deployment discipline so what's running always matches what's in the repo
Continued performance work — moving heavy queries server-side instead of having clients page through large result sets
Guardrails on what our AI agents are allowed to modify without a human in the loop
Six months from now, the founder should be able to say:
"I can move fast without being afraid that something is quietly breaking behind me."
We should have:
Reliable automated testing

Fast identification and resolution of bugs
Confidence that new features aren't breaking existing functionality
A clean process for using AI to build and modify the product
Someone who understands the entire technical ecosystem and knows where the risks are
You are probably a great fit if you are:
A strong senior software engineer or technical lead
Available full-time, 40 hours per week, with this as your only job
An excellent English speaker — comfortable on live video calls, explaining technical decisions clearly and pushing back when you disagree
Comfortable working across the full stack — TypeScript on both ends, SQL when it matters
Extremely good at debugging, especially across service boundaries
Naturally skeptical of "it seems to work"
Strong with testing and quality assurance
Comfortable understanding unfamiliar codebases quickly
Experienced with APIs, databases, integrations and third-party services — particularly webhook-driven, OAuth-authenticated, rate-limited ones
Comfortable working with AI coding tools such as Claude Code
Able to review AI-generated code and recognize when something is fundamentally wrong
More interested in making systems reliable and scalable than simply writing more code
Comfortable operating independently and telling us what needs attention
Hands-on experience with:
Supabase / Postgres (RLS, migrations, edge functions) — or a strong Postgres background generally
TypeScript + React, Vercel, serverless/edge runtimes (Deno or similar)
Playwright or similar end-to-end testing, plus CI/CD via GitHub Actions

This isn't a role where we expect you to personally write every feature.
We want to use AI to dramatically increase development velocity.
Your job is to make sure that velocity doesn't turn into chaos.
You'll help us build a development environment where AI can move incredibly fast while a highly capable human is continuously watching the system, testing the important things, and keeping the architecture healthy.
