Job Overview

A reputed group of companies is looking for an experienced IT professional to maintain, optimize, and secure organizational infrastructure, software applications, and data pipelines. The ideal candidate will have a hybrid background in software engineering, system administration, networking, cloud services, and cybersecurity.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend applications, RESTful APIs, and internal dashboards using Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, SQL, and Bash.

• Work with Django, Flask, or Node.js for backend development and application maintenance.

• Administer Linux and Windows Server environments, including server deployment, monitoring, patch management, and routine maintenance.

• Manage networking components including TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, firewalls, VLANs, and routing.

• Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and work with AWS/GCP services and virtual machines.

• Design, maintain, and optimize PostgreSQL/MySQL databases, including schemas, queries, and indexing.

• Work with MongoDB, Redis, RESTful APIs, JSON/XML data, and automated ETL processes.

• Implement and maintain security practices including IAM, SSL/TLS, and encryption of data at rest and in transit.

• Monitor system health and performance using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK Stack.

• Automate system maintenance, backups, deployments, and other operational tasks.

• Support CI/CD workflows, including Git-based version control and continuous delivery using tools such as GitHub Actions.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical industry experience.

• 3-6 Years of experience in software development, systems engineering, networking, and infrastructure management.

• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills for complex software, system, and network issues.

• Ability to prepare clear technical documentation and API specifications.

• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide technical guidance when required.

• Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, CompTIA Security+, LFCS, or CCNA will be considered an added advantage.

Technical Expertise

• Essential: Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, SQL, Bash, Git, Linux/Windows Server, networking, Docker, PostgreSQL/MySQL, REST APIs, and system administration.

• Important: Network security, VPN configuration, traffic monitoring, security groups, and SSL certificate management.

• Preferred: DevOps, GitHub Actions, continuous delivery, Docker-based deployment, and Infrastructure as Code.
