Experience:
Professional certification/training in Regulatory Affairs or Telecommunication will be an added advantage.
Strong knowledge of BTRC and BTCL regulatory processes and requirements.
Good understanding of ISP, IPTSP, VPN, IIG, IP Bandwidth, Short Code, Call Center, and telecommunication services.
Strong documentation, reporting, and follow-up skills.
Excellent communication and coordination skills.
Ability to communicate effectively with regulatory authorities and internal technical/business teams.
Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
Good knowledge of MS Office and online regulatory portals.
Submit daily applications, letters, and regulatory documents through BTRC Portal / MyGov BD and other relevant platforms.
Monitor regulatory licenses, including renewal, conversion, validity, and payment of applicable fees/charges.
Monitor, prepare requisitions for, and coordinate payment of ISP/IPTSP and other revenue-sharing obligations with BTRC.
Apply for and obtain approval for E-1 and bilateral SMS agreements with relevant stakeholders.
Prepare and submit monthly and quarterly regulatory reports for IPTSP, DIS, VPN (Corporate & Bank), and other applicable services to BTRC.
Obtain NOCs/approvals for radio and wire-based devices through the National Single Window or BTRC for various projects.
Handle applications and regulatory approvals for Short Code, VC, VPN (Corporate & Bank), Call Center, IP Bandwidth, and other client requirements.
Coordinate with Technical, RDP, and other internal teams regarding regulatory applications, declarations, compliance, and legal matters.
Liaise with BTRC, BTCL, Teletalk, and other authorities to resolve regulatory and technical queries.
Follow up on Point of Presence (PoP) declarations, cancellations, and approvals with BTRC.
Manage daily applications and letters through the BTCL online portal.
Review, document, correct, and negotiate disputed BTCL bills.
Ensure timely application, activation, and discontinuation of BTCL IIG and VPN links through the online portal.
Conduct field surveys and coordinate requirements for BTCL VPN, Antenna, and Co-location services.
Collect demand notes and coordinate payment processing for BTCL VPN, Antenna, and Co-location services.
Maintain proper regulatory records, approvals, licenses, reports, correspondence, and compliance documentation.
Ensure all regulatory activities are completed accurately and within the required deadlines.
