Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

• 2–3 years of professional experience in software testing, including both manual and automation testing.

• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, software testing methodologies, and QA best practices.

• Hands-on experience with manual testing and automated testing frameworks such as:
  o   Selenium
  o   Appium
  o   Katalon
  o   JUnit
  o   TestNG
  o   or equivalent tools/frameworks.

• Experience creating and executing detailed test cases and test scenarios.

• Good understanding of API testing, integration testing, and database testing.

• Familiarity with Azure DevOps and Azure Test Plans is highly desirable.

• Experience with Git or other version control systems and collaborative development workflows.

• Understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Good communication and documentation skills.

• Strong attention to detail and a quality-focused mindset.

Preferred Skills

Candidates with experience in the following areas will have an added advantage:

• Automated API testing.

• Performance and load testing.

• CI/CD pipeline integration for automated testing.

• Testing web and mobile applications.

• Cloud-based application testing, particularly Microsoft Azure.

• Experience working with distributed systems, microservices, or REST APIs.

• Experience working with Azure DevOps-based development environments.

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Test Engineer to join our dynamic team in Dhaka. The successful candidate will work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure the quality, reliability, performance, and usability of our software products.

Key Responsibilities

·         Collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to understand business and technical requirements.

·         Work closely with development teams to understand software architecture, technical specifications, and application workflows.

·         Design and maintain comprehensive test plans, test scenarios, and test cases.

·         Perform testing across frontend, backend, APIs, databases, and third-party integrations.

·         Conduct functional, regression, integration, exploratory, and performance testing as required.

·         Apply appropriate testing methodologies, including black-box and white-box testing.

·         Develop and maintain realistic test data sets to support different testing scenarios.

·         Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and collaborate with end-users to gather feedback.

·         Identify, reproduce, analyze, and document software defects with clear steps and supporting information.

·         Track defects through the complete lifecycle and work closely with developers to validate fixes.

·         Develop and maintain automated test scripts for regression and repetitive testing using tools such as Selenium, Appium, Katalon, or similar frameworks.

·         Utilize Azure Test Plans and Azure DevOps to manage test cases, test execution, defects, and validation activities.

·         Enhance and maintain automated testing and CI/CD flows to support reliable and efficient software releases.

·         Participate actively in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

·         Continuously identify opportunities to improve testing processes, automation coverage, and overall software quality.

·         Stay current with emerging testing tools, methodologies, and industry best practices.
