Experience:
Minimum Bachelor's degree in, Computer Science & Engineering (CSE), Information Technology (IT) or a related discipline from a recognized university.
Professional certifications such as RHCSA/RHCE, MCSE/Windows Server, VMware VCP, IBM, ITIL, AWS, Azure or other relevant certifications will be considered an added advantage.
Experience Requirement
Minimum 6 to 10 years of relevant professional experience, preferably in the IT Division/System Administration/Data Center Operations of a scheduled bank.
Candidates with hands-on experience in banking infrastructure and 24×7 production environments will be preferred.
Technical Qualifications
Candidates should have practical knowledge and competency in the following areas:
Linux/UNIX and Windows Server Administration
IBM Power and other enterprise server cluster platforms Administration
Enterprise-level IBM SAN Storage and other NAS Storage administration
Backup and recovery solutions
Infrastructure security hardening, patching; Experience in supporting of infrastructure for mission-critical banking applications
Data Center & Disaster Recovery (DC/DR) infrastructure
High Availability (HA) and Clustered Environments
Scripting/automation using Shell/PowerShell/Python will be an advantage
IBM AIX administration will be an advantage

The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring the availability, reliability, security and efficient operation of the Bank's data center infrastructure and critical IT systems.

Key Responsibilities
Administer and monitor physical/virtual servers across DC and DR environments.
- Manage AIX/UNIX, Linux and Windows Server installation, configuration, patching, hardening, clustering and troubleshooting.
Administer IBM, Dell and enterprise server platforms, SAN/NAS storage and IBM Storage Protect (TSM) backup infrastructure.
Manage virtualization and cloud platforms, server provisioning, migration, capacity planning and performance optimization.
Monitor system performance, capacity, availability, patching and security compliance.
Support infrastructure for critical banking systems/services including CBS, SWIFT, Digital/Mobile Banking, Agent Banking and Payment Systems.
Implement security hardening and remediate VAPT, audit and security findings.
Troubleshoot complex server, OS, storage, virtualization and connectivity issues.
Maintain DC/DR infrastructure, including PAC, UPS, CCTV, EMS and access control systems.
Support infrastructure projects, upgrades, migrations, implementations and commissioning.
Maintain SOPs, documentation, inventory, configurations and operational reports.
Coordinate with vendors, application, network, cybersecurity and business teams for incidents and implementations.
