KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
A. Product Management and Strategy:
• Serve as the primary product manager overseeing all telco-based services within the MVAS & Digital Services portfolio, ensuring meticulous attention to the entire product/service lifecycle.
• Develop strategic plans for the localization and customization of products, aiming to optimize market acceptance and enhance competitiveness.
• Conduct comprehensive market research and analysis to discern market gaps and opportunities, guiding the prioritization and strategizing of product development initiatives. Additionally, craft detailed business cases for each product.
• Monitor the revenue performance of each product against established business forecasts, devising and implementing strategies to optimize revenue generation.
B. Partnership and Relationship Management:
• Cultivate robust relationships with both global and local partners, establishing and maintaining effective communication channels to foster collaboration and synergy.
• Act as a seamless liaison between internal departments and external partners, ensuring smooth cooperation and swift issue resolution. Collaborate cross-departmentally as needed to drive collective objectives forward.
• Manage the signing of agreements with partners and oversee agreement renewals to uphold compliance with stipulated terms and conditions.
• Oversee communication with all Mobile Network Operators (MNOs), including Grameenphone, Robi Axiata, Airtel, Banglalink, and Teletalk, fostering fruitful collaboration and partnerships to ensure effective service delivery.
C. Market Analysis and Strategic Planning:
• Assess the suitability of global and local products for the local market, meticulously considering cultural nuances, regulatory frameworks, and competitive dynamics.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams to identify emerging market trends, discern customer needs, and pinpoint opportunities for collaborative partner product development or promotional endeavors.
• Strategically manage product queues for MNO pitching, prioritizing product presentations and proposals based on strategic imperatives and market insights.
D. Operational, Cross-Department Collaboration and Regulatory Compliance:
• Coordinate with the commercial team to facilitate partner invoicing and ensure timely payment processing, maintaining financial integrity and partner satisfaction.
• Manage the allocation of short codes and orchestrate corporate VAS campaigns on Push-Pull platforms, optimizing engagement and visibility.
• Oversee the execution of relevant campaigns on digital gratifications (such as airtime, data packs, vouchers), enhancing customer satisfaction and loyalty.
• Facilitate communication and promotion of Mobile Financial Services (MFS) VAS, leveraging effective marketing strategies to drive adoption and usage.
• Monitor license renewals and ensure regulatory compliance with the Bangladesh
Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC), ensuring timely submission of requisite documentation and payments.
• Address BTRC-related issues and communications, ensuring strict adherence to regulatory requirements and standards.
• Collaborate with the Enterprise team to explore and capitalize on SMS lead generation opportunities, maximizing outreach and conversion potential.
• Evaluate new business opportunities within the MVAS & Digital Services domain, partnering with the Research and Development (R&D) team to conceptualize and refine innovative product offerings.
E. Tender Compliance
• Identify and monitor relevant government, semi-government, corporate, and institutional tender opportunities.
• Review tender/RFP/RFQ documents, eligibility criteria, specifications, BOQ, and submission requirements.
• Prepare complete technical, commercial, and administrative tender documents.
• Handle e-GP and online tender submissions and ensure timely submission.
• Coordinate with Business, Technical, Finance, Legal, vendors, and partners for required documents and quotations.
• Prepare tender compliance checklists and ensure all requirements are properly fulfilled.
• Coordinate bid security, bank guarantees, authorization letters, certificates, and other supporting documents.
• Monitor tender opening, evaluation, clarification, award, and post-submission activities.
• Maintain an organized database and records of all tender activities.
• Prepare regular tender status and management reports.
F. Undertake ad hoc tasks as delegated by management, demonstrating flexibility and agility in response to evolving organizational needs and priorities.
