Educational Requirements:
∎ Diploma in Agriculture in poultry farming, Bachelor of Science (BSc) in livestock, Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) in Poultry science., Bachelor degree in any discipline
∎ Doctor of Veterinary Medicine, animal husbandry, Animal science, Poultry science.
∎ Certificate in Poultry Farming
∎ Certificate in Animal Health and Production
∎ Skills Required: Honesty and Sincerity, Leadership and Good Communication skill., Professionalism; Hardworking; Problem solving skills.
Experience Requirements:
∎ 1 to 2 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Farm Management, Farming, Poultry Farm Management, rearing of poultry and livestock
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Animal/Plant Breeding
Job Context:
∎ The primary context of this job is to create feasible farmers and create collaborative business relationship with proven, successful & efficient farm owners in all aspects of the company system and the poultry industry standards.
∎ Selected personnel must have clear mindset who Learns, demonstrates capability/knowledge among farmers and high potential farming area`s community including fulfilling all the requirements and responsibilities listed in company`s SOP & technical manuals.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Must Know about operation & rearing from chicks placement to birds lifting.
∎ Farm record book maintaining and updating.
∎ Ensure contractual factors as per farmer-company contact.
∎ proper Brooding management.
∎ Summer and winter management.
∎ Excessive mortality control.
∎ SOP's (standard operating procedures) & BMP's (Best mgmt. practices).
∎ Disease diagnose and medication.
∎ FCR, Production Cost, Book Closing, EEF, Adding New Farms, Post Mortem.
∎ New farm inclusion for branch's expansion.
∎ Collecting daily body weight, daily gain, management faultiness, monitor contractual agreement violation issues.
∎ Arrange on demand bird collection for lab testing & routine checking farms water condition for knowing the PH & hardness standard.
∎ Feed, medicine intend and ensuring farm preparedness for chicks receiving.
∎ Work and build strong relationship with Poultry Farmers.
∎ Investigating theft and unprofessional actions.
∎ knowledge sharing to the farmer about scientific poultry rearing practices.
∎ Demotivate farmers about wrongdoings & contract violation practices.
∎ Arrange & schedule periodical farmers gathering sessions (Uthan Boithok) in designated area.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 24 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ The candidate must have the mindset and be capable of extensive field visits.
∎ The candidate must be honest, smart, energetic, fast learner, and result-oriented team member.
∎ The candidate must be able to ride a motorcycle (Must have a valid driving license).
∎ The candidate should have good knowledge of a smart phone.
∎ Computer (especially in MS Excel) and smartphone operating skills are necessary.
