Responsibilities & Context:
  • Capability to navigate stressful situations

  • Proficiency in English is essential, along with strong writing skills

  • Receiving directives from international clients and agents, and disseminating the information to shippers, exporters, buying houses, and trading companies

  • Coordinate with the Operations, Documentation, Accounts and CFS teams to ensure smooth shipment handling.

  • Effective monitoring of shipments from initiation to release at the destination

  • A mindset geared towards working under pressure and collaborating as a team member

  • A positive attitude is necessary to meet the needs of customers and agents, ensuring their requirements are fulfilled.

  • Ability to assist customers and agents in making informed decisions regarding shipments, particularly in selecting shipping lines when needed.

  • Capable of supporting the finance and accounts team with billing, especially concerning Debit Notes, Credit Notes, and necessary adjustments

  • Empowered to make independent decisions when required for shipment purposes

  • Proficient in global communication with agents, customers, and trading companies is essential.

  • Competent in managing daily operations while maintaining timely communication

  • Collaborate with the Operations, Documentation, and Accounts teams to facilitate seamless shipment handling.

  • Monitor and track shipments (Air/Sea Export & Import) and provide customers with timely updates.

  • Possess thorough knowledge and a meticulous approach before sending HBL, MBL, shipment advice, and pre-alerts to overseas parties, agents, and customers

  • Keep accurate records of all correspondence and shipment-related documents.

  • Follow up on payment collections and nurture strong client relationships.

  • Support the sales team with rate inquiries and customer feedback when required.
