Responsibilities & Context:
Akij Venture Group is looking for dynamic and responsible professionals for the position of Executive - SCM under the Electrical & Mechanical (Local Purchase) Section. We are hiring separate candidates for Electrical and Mechanical items procurement to ensure smooth purchasing operations, vendor management, timely delivery, and cost optimization.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for local purchase of mechanical and electrical items.
Ensure completion of Indent vs PO process within the required timeline.
Monitor and ensure timely delivery of goods from suppliers.
Prepare and evaluate comparative statements within the scheduled time.
Ensure timely processing of Work Orders and Purchase Orders (PO).
Conduct regular market visits for product sourcing and price evaluation.
Visit vendors/suppliers to maintain effective business relationships.
Develop new suppliers/vendors as per business requirements.
Support cost optimization initiatives through effective negotiation and sourcing.
Maintain proper documentation and follow SCM policies & procedures.
