Responsibilities & Context:
  • Responsible for physical purchasing as per requisition, ensuring delivery & make payment against it on certification of the bill as per SOP.
  • Source, negotiate, prepare comparative statement and report to the senior.
  • Communicate all the factories regarding all the spare parts, Raw and Packing Materials and other materials.
  • Prepare weekly and Monthly material procurement plan and place to head of the department.
  • Issue work order as per procurement plan and ensuring timely delivery.
  • Responsible for preparation all the supplier bills and forwarding the same to accounts department.
  • Evaluate suppliers’ quotation to ensure that they are in line with the technical and commercial specifications.
  • Evaluate supplier performance based on quality standards, delivery time & best prices and ensure all the criteria are met according to the organizational standard.
  • Create and maintain good relationships with vendors and suppliers.
  • Coordinate with user departments to understand requirements and ensure quality, quantity, and timely delivery.
  • Assist senior team members in procurement planning and strategy development.
