Job Context
We are K&A Logistics Ltd., a joint venture of Karnaphuli Group and Advantis, delivering integrated logistics and warehousing solutions.
We are currently looking for an Executive—HR & Admin for our warehouse located in Hotapara, Gazipur.
Job Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end HR operations for the factory, including manpower approval, recruitment & selection, staffing, and ensuring updated job descriptions for all positions.
Maintain and update employees’ personal files with all required documents and records.
Prepare monthly payroll, including calculation of income tax, provident fund (PF), and other deductions to ensure accurate TDS compliance.
Process special payments such as bonuses, incentives, annual increments, and other benefits.
Prepare monthly attendance data and accurately calculate overtime (OT).
Handle onboarding of new employees, conduct background checks, and update records in the HRIS.
Lead strategic HR planning, succession planning, and formulation of HR policies in alignment with local labor laws and the organization’s code of conduct.
Manage disciplinary matters, employee grievances, counseling, and initiatives to improve employee motivation and worker engagement.
Administrative Responsibilities
Oversee general administrative operations including office/factory maintenance, utilities, housekeeping, transport, and security services.
Manage vendor coordination, service agreements, and administrative budgeting and cost control.
Ensure proper management of company assets, inventory, and store records.
Supervise gate control, visitor management, and overall facility discipline.
Safety & Compliance Responsibilities
Ensure workplace safety standards in compliance with local labor laws and factory safety regulations.
Coordinate fire safety, emergency evacuation drills, and safety training for employees.
Monitor use of PPE and maintain accident/incident records with proper reporting.
Liaise with compliance auditors and ensure readiness for internal and external audits.
Perform any other HR, Admin, and Safety-related responsibilities assigned by management from time to time.
