Responsibilities & Context:

The Executive Director will lead and oversee the company's overall production and operational activities, ensuring efficient manufacturing processes, quality standards, productivity targets, and business objectives are achieved. The role requires strategic leadership to drive operational excellence, optimize resources, and support sustainable business growth in the tannery and footwear sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic direction and leadership for production, operations, supply chain, and administrative functions.

  • Ensure timely achievement of production targets while maintaining quality, cost, and compliance standards.

  • Monitor daily factory operations, production planning, and resource utilization.

  • Lead process improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and operational efficiency.

  • Oversee budgeting, cost control, and performance monitoring across departments.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, labor laws, safety regulations, and industry standards.

  • Develop and mentor departmental leaders to build a high-performance work culture.

  • Maintain effective relationships with customers, suppliers, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders.

  • Prepare and present operational reports and recommendations to senior management and the Board.

Daily Tasks

  • Review production performance, operational reports, and key business metrics.

  • Coordinate with department heads to address operational issues and ensure smooth workflow.

  • Monitor production schedules, inventory status, quality performance, and delivery commitments.

  • Conduct management meetings and provide guidance on business priorities and targets.

  • Support strategic decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives.

This role demands a proactive leader with strong operational, managerial, and strategic capabilities to ensure efficient business operations and long-term organizational success.
