• Must have experience in Compliance role in garments or textile industry.

• Practical experience in handling buyer audits and social compliance standards.

• Experience working with international buyers and compliance certifications will be preferred.

• Strong knowledge of Bangladesh Labor Law and international compliance standards (BSCI, SEDEX, WRAP).

• Good understanding of factory compliance, worker welfare and audit processes.



Responsibilities & Context:

Position Purpose

To support and ensure full compliance of Jamuna Poly Silk Limited with local labor laws, buyer standards and social compliance requirements by implementing effective compliance systems, conducting regular audits and promoting ethical workplace practices within manufacturing operations.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Monitor and ensure compliance with Bangladesh Labor Law, Factory Act and other regulatory requirements.

• Assist in implementing and maintaining social compliance standards (BSCI, SEDEX, WRAP, ISO, etc.).

• Conduct regular internal compliance audits and inspections to identify non-compliance issues.

• Ensure proper documentation of compliance-related records such as employee files, attendance, wages, working hours, and leave records.

• Coordinate and prepare for external audits (buyer audits, third-party audits) and ensure audit readiness at all times.

• Follow up and ensure timely closure of audit findings and corrective action plans (CAP).

• Ensure workplace safety, health and hygiene standards are properly maintained.

• Monitor fire safety systems, emergency exits, and conduct fire drills in coordination with EHS team.

• Work closely with HR and Admin departments to ensure ethical recruitment practices and employee welfare.

• Conduct training and awareness programs for workers and staff on compliance and code of conduct.
