Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Job Purpose: The Executive – Asset Management is responsible for maintaining and updating the company’s asset register, ensuring accurate recording, tracking, and valuation of all assets. This role ensures compliance with accounting standards while managing the physical and financial records of company assets from acquisition to disposal.
∎ Key Responsibilities:
∎ ✅ Maintain an up-to-date asset register, categorizing and tracking all company assets.
∎ ✅ Coordinate with finance and procurement teams for proper documentation of asset-related transactions.
∎ ✅ Ensure compliance with accounting and regulatory standards.
∎ ✅ Assist in preparing year-end financial statements by providing asset-related data.
∎ ✅ Conduct regular reconciliation between physical assets and financial records.
