Responsibilities & Context:
Handle day-to-day Import, Export & Foreign Trade activities.
Prepare and maintain L/C, PI, Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading, EXP/IMP and other trade documents.
Coordinate with banks, C&F agents, shipping lines, freight forwarders, suppliers, and customers.
Follow up on L/C opening, shipment, customs clearance, and payment processes.
Ensure proper compliance with Bangladesh Bank, Customs, NBR, VAT and other regulatory requirements.
Monitor import/export shipments and maintain necessary records and reports.
Communicate with foreign suppliers and customers through email and other business channels.
Check shipping and commercial documents and resolve any discrepancies.
Coordinate with the Accounts & Finance team regarding import payments, duties, VAT, AIT, and other related expenses.
Perform any other Foreign Trade/Commercial duties assigned by management.
