Responsibilities & Context:
  • Maintain petty cash and perform head-wise postings in accordance with company policy.

  • Verify bills and vouchers prior to payment and adjustment.

  • Prepare daily vouchers and record them in accounting software, including ERP 9 and TallyPrime.

  • Ensure timely and accurate daily data entry in TallyPrime and ERP software.

  • Collect pay orders and TDS challans for the payment of utility and other bills.

  • Gather and organize data for generating accounting reports as required.

  • Handle bank transactions and perform weekly bank reconciliations.

  • Maintain filing and documentation for audit files, scrap files, and other relevant records.

  • Coordinate with internal and external auditors as needed.

  • Maintain all accounting books and prepare various required reports.

  • Manage funds and cash disbursements to ensure smooth operational flow.

  • Prepare monthly consolidated budgets and conduct budget variance analysis.

  • Maintain financial databases using computer software and manual filing systems.

  • Maintain records of daily financial transactions and prepare accounting statements.

  • Perform any other accounting-related tasks assigned by the line manager.
