Minimum Bachelor or Honors in Economics / Social Science/ Development Studies/ Business Administration from any reputed university.
At least 2 years of relevant experience in field data collection, survey administration, or related research work is preferred.
Willingness to travel to both rural and urban areas for data collection.
Proficient in using data collection tools and technology such as Survey CTO, KOBO Toolbox, or similar platforms.
Applicants must possess professional communication skills in both written and verbal English and Bangla.
The candidate must possess a smartphone with at least 4GB RAM and a stable internet connection.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and tasks efficiently in a high-stress environment.
Excellent time management skills, resourcefulness, with strong attention to detail.

JOB CONTEXT
Truvalu.enterprises Limited is seeking data enumerators to support the implementation of its Gender Lens Investment (GLI) Programme across Bangladesh. The role holder will support data collection from gender-focused enterprises to assess their current situation in terms of access to finance, business and financial management practices, impact management, and awareness of business growth strategies.
The GLI Programme is an initiative of Truvalu.enterprises Limited, implemented in collaboration with B-Briddhi and supported by the Embassy of Switzerland in Bangladesh. The programme aims to mainstream gender-inclusive investment practices within the country by working closely with SMEs, financial institutions, investors, and ecosystem partners.
Truvalu.enterprises Limited is a Netherlands-based impact investment company that provides entrepreneurship development training and supports SMEs through equity investment, BDS, and other relevant business advisory services in various emerging economies across Asia, East Africa, and South America. JOB OBJECTIVES
The enumerator will be responsible for supporting the “Contextual Study on Gender Lens Investment (GLI) in Bangladesh” by collecting accurate and high-quality field data from women-led and gender-focused small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) across 15 districts. The role includes conducting structured surveys, documenting responses, and ensuring proper data recording and submission in a timely and ethical manner. The enumerator will also assist in validating field data, follow research protocols, and maintain respectful and professional engagement with respondents. Findings from this study will contribute to evidence-based policy recommendations and strengthen financial inclusion for women-led and gender-responsive enterprises in Bangladesh.
DURATION: 3 weeks (cumulative), from the third week of November to the first week of December.
JOB LOCATION: Anywhere in Bangladesh (Extensive field visits across the country are required).
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Participate in training sessions to become familiar with the project objectives, survey instruments, protocols, and data collection techniques.
Conduct surveys and interviews with women-led and gender-focused enterprises to assess their awareness and utilization of gender-focused investment opportunities and identify barriers.
Travel to designated areas to establish relationships with enterprises and communities for primary data collection.
Prepare and organize all survey materials, including questionnaires, consent forms, and equipment, for fieldwork.
Communicate clearly with respondents to clarify questions, provide assistance, and maintain positive interactions.
Implement quality control measures to ensure data accuracy and report any inconsistencies or issues to the supervisor.
Submit collected data and collaborate with the research team on transcription, translation, and data management.
Ensure confidentiality, accuracy, and professionalism during all interactions with survey participants.
