Truvalu Bangladesh is currently inviting applications from experienced finance and accounting professionals for the role of Finance & Accounts Analyst / Specialist to join its core finance team in Dhaka.
JOB OBJECTIVE
The Finance & Accounts Analyst / Specialist will be an integral member of Truvalu Bangladesh’s finance team, supporting day-to-day finance and accounting activities. The role involves contributing to smooth financial management, reliable reporting, and compliance with regulations. By providing timely financial insights and helping maintain strong internal controls, the position enables informed business decisions and supports both local operations and group-level financial processes. This role is key to ensuring the company’s financial operations are transparent, accurate, and efficient.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Execute all general finance and accounting tasks across the organization.
Perform periodic closing activities, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
Prepare accurate and timely interim and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS and applicable regulations.
Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable, ensuring timely invoicing, collections, and payments.
Conduct bank reconciliations and manage all banking transactions independently.
Maintain cash flow monitoring and reporting, ensuring sufficient liquidity for operational requirements.
Prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial projections, and track performance against these plans.
Analyze financial variances, trends, and key performance indicators, providing actionable insights for management.
Ensure compliance with taxation requirements, including corporate tax, withholding tax, and VAT; prepare filings and coordinate with advisors as needed.
Coordinate payroll processing, ensuring timely payment of salaries, benefits, and statutory deductions.
Manage company secretarial and licensing obligations, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.
Handle procurement-related finance activities, including invoice verification, vendor payments, and expense tracking.
Prepare audit schedules, reports, and supporting documentation for statutory audits; respond to audit queries promptly.
Implement and maintain internal control procedures, accounting policies, and reporting standards.
Manage and execute project accounting, including tracking project budgets, monitoring expenses, preparing project-specific financial reports, and ensuring compliance with contractual and funding requirements.
Prepare and submit global/group financial reports, consolidations, and schedules in line with corporate reporting standards and timelines.
Coordinate with the group finance team and shared services to ensure alignment of local financial operations with group/global requirements.
Support finance shared services for group/global entities, including process standardization, reporting consistency, and adherence to global policies.
