Education:
Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering or related field from any University.

Experience in large-scale manufacturing, poultry, agro-industrial, or feed mill operations will be preferred.
Strong understanding of fire science, fire protection systems, and safety standards (BNBC, NFPA, etc.).
Ability to interpret and apply building codes and safety regulations.
Willingness to travel frequently within assigned regions.
Responsibilities & Context:
Job Summary:
Nourish Poultry and Hatchery Ltd. is seeking a skilled and experienced Fire & Safety Engineer to oversee fire safety measures. This role involves enforcing fire safety policies, managing fire protection equipment, and ensuring compliance with all national fire and safety regulations to protect employees, assets, and operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and monitor workplace fire and safety policies, procedures, and programs.
Conduct regular fire risk assessments, hazard analyses, and safety audits across all facilities.
Inspect and oversee the fire detection system, hydrant system, fire pumps, extinguishers, emergency lights, fire doors, and related safety equipment.
Supervise and monitor the firefighting team and ensure readiness for emergency response.
Conduct fire safety audits and coordinate with authorities for fire license renewals and compliance documentation.
Develop and maintain Fire Emergency Evacuation Plans and ensure clear evacuation maps and signage are displayed in all buildings.
Plan, organize, and conduct fire safety training programs and evacuation drills for all employees and contractors.
Develop and review system designs, BOQs, and documentation for fire sprinklers, standpipes, alarms, and passive fire protection systems.
Coordinate with project, engineering, and construction teams to ensure fire-safe building design and installation.
Advise management and other departments on fire risk, safety procedures, and emergency preparedness.
Ensure periodic maintenance and calibration of all fire safety systems and equipment.
Perform any other fire and safety-related duties assigned by Management.
