Experience:

• 8–10 years of hands-on experience in quality assurance and quality control in construction projects

Required Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of QA & QC systems and procedures in construction

• Practical experience in civil construction and material testing

• Familiarity with applicable building codes and standards in Bangladesh

• Strong documentation and reporting skills

• Ability to manage responsibilities across multiple project sites

• Effective communication and coordination skills

• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving ability

Reporting Line:

• Reports to: Project Manager

Role Overview: The Engineer, QA & QC will be responsible for ensuring that all construction activities at project sites are executing as per compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards. The role requires close coordination with project teams, consultants and Management to maintain and ensure consistent quality control for his assign projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and monitor QA & QC procedures across all construction activities for his assign projects and works.

• Ensure compliance with approved drawings, BOQ, technical specifications, and relevant codes/standards.

• Conduct routine site inspections for civil works (sub structure, structural, finishing works, etc.).

• Monitor and verify material quality through inspections and testing (concrete, steel, sand, aggregates, etc.).

• Maintain proper documentation of inspections, checklists, test reports, and quality records.

• Prepare and submit stage-wise Quality Reports to management, highlighting progress and deviations.

• Identify non-conformance issues (NCRs), recommend corrective actions, and ensure timely closure.

• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and internal teams to resolve quality-related concerns.

• Ensure all required field and laboratory tests are conducted as per standards and properly recorded.

• Assist in internal audits and ensure compliance with any external quality inspections.
